Damascus Steel blade is made from two types of steel:

4340 Alloy Steel

1095 Carbon Steel

Each blade has 256 layers (folds) and an HRC (hardness rating) between 50-54

Cleaning Instructions

Rinse clean under running water and wipe dry with a clean cloth. Lightly oil using food safe oil. Store in a dry place, do not leave the blade resting in water. Do not store in direct contact with leather.
